The Grievance Cell is responsible for addressing the issues raised by any student and evaluating their validity. It also has the authority to deal with cases of harassment. The students can contact the department members directly or consult with the officer in charge of the Grievance Cell if they have a genuine problem. Alternatively, they can write their grievances and drop them in the letterbox / suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at the Administrative Block. They can also email their grievances to the officer in charge of the Grievance Cell.

 

Objective

The Grievance Cell aims to foster a positive and respectful environment in the institute by addressing the issues faced by the students.

The Grievance Cell has the following objectives:

  • To allow the students to voice their grievances or problems without any fear of retaliation.
  • To maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the college by promoting healthy relationships among students and teachers.
  • To provide a suggestion/complaint box in front of the Administrative Block for anonymous feedback from the students on academic/administrative matters.
  • To advise the students to respect each other’s rights and dignity and avoid any conflict or violence.
  • To advise the staff to be kind and fair to the students and not to harass or discriminate them for any reason.
  • To prohibit ragging in any form inside or outside the college and take strict action against any violation.

 

Scope:

The cell will handle written grievances from the students on any of the following

  • Academic Matters: Related to mark-sheets, certificates, exams, etc.
  • Financial Matters:Related to fees, dues, payments, etc.
  • Other Matters:Related to sanitation, food, transport, etc.
  • Procedure for lodging complaint:

The students can write their grievances or use the format available in the admin department and drop them in the boxes. The Grievance Cell will verify the documents and act on the grievances accordingly. The Grievance Cell will ensure that the grievances are resolved within a specified time limit.

  • Execution system:The cell will respond to the written grievances within a month of receiving them. There will be a monthly meeting of the Grievance Cell on the first Tuesday of every month. The cell will report on the cases resolved and pending in the HOD meeting.

Anti-Ragging Cell is a committee that works to prevent and eliminate ragging in educational institutions. Ragging is a form of abuse or harassment that involves physical, mental, or emotional torture of junior students by senior students. It is a serious offence that violates the human rights and dignity of the victims. Anti-Ragging Cell aims to create a ragging-free campus by spreading awareness, enforcing rules, and taking action against the perpetrators. It also provides support and counselling to the victims of ragging and ensures their safety and well-being.

As per Government instruction and protocol we have formed SC -ST Cell for the academic Year 2022-23 till ending of Academic year 2022-23. Every two academic years the committee shall be dissolved and replaced by new committee.

Students Council is a group of elected student representatives who work together to organize activities and address student issues and interests. It is a way of involving students in the decision-making and management of their school. Students Council also helps to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills among students. It also fosters a sense of responsibility, citizenship, and democracy. Students Council usually works with an adult advisor, such as a teacher or a principal, to plan and execute various events or projects for the benefit of the school community.
