Sarabjit Kulkarni is an experienced design professor and core faculty member at BNCA, with over 10 years of teaching experience and 5 years of professional experience in the retail industry. She works closely with Foundation Year students, helping them develop strong design fundamentals through hands-on learning, clear visual thinking, and the effective use of digital tools.
She has good proficiency in various design software, is fond of animation, and loves to sketch, combining traditional skills with modern technology to enrich her teaching.
Her areas of expertise include Technical and Digital Software, Furniture Design, Form & Visual Exploration, and AI Tools for Design Learning, integrating modern technology with traditional design principles to enhance student understanding.
She teaches Furniture Design, UX/UI Design, Design Fundamentals, Form & Space Studies, and Technical & Digital Software for Designers.
Teaching Philosophy: Sarabjit believes in learning by doing, integrating digital and AI-based tools to enhance engagement, support practical learning, and encourage students to explore ideas critically and creatively.
